The league

17 clubs. One running community.

League races take place across the county, each one put on by a member club. They are all between 5km and 10km, cost from as little as £5, and most have a junior race of no more than a mile alongside. Many are run over the South Downs.

Runners score points for their club for taking part as well as for where they finish, so every finisher counts. Clubs collect points through the year and compete for the Norman Crook Memorial Trophy.

How the league works
  1. Join a member club

Any of the 17 clubs below. Juniors to veterans, every pace is welcome.

  2. Enter through your club

Your club rep enters you for each race. Some races also take entries on the day.

  3. Run and score

Every finisher earns a point for their club, and the faster runners add placing points.
